We have been blown away with how quickly things have been happening at the house these last few weeks. We are getting very excited. Our kitchen cabinets are now installed and they are gorgeous!

Kitchen Appliances
We have been spending a lot of time at Standard TV and Appliance these days. After reading every online review three times, we have finally decided on our kitchen appliances.
This entire time, I was convinced we would buy a Bosch dishwasher. After hearing a presentation about Miele, our minds were changed. These dishwashers last 15-20 years! Are you kidding me? Miele makes all of their parts in house and dries better than the Bosch. It is 46 dBA where the Bosch was 44dBA. It was a tough call, but I think we made the right choice.

We knew we wanted a double oven, but did not have room in our kitchen for wall ovens.
Ta-Da! The next best thing - a slide in double oven range. There were only two ranges to chose from with gas burners and double oven. We decided on the GE Profile over the GE Cafe version.

We bought our refrigerator from Sears on Black Friday 2013. It's been sitting patiently in a warehouse somewhere, waiting for us. It has been so long, I sometimes forget what it looks like. We are ready to get this puppy in our kitchen.

Paint Colors on the Walls
We panicked a bit when we found out that the paint was already on the walls. We tried to change the colors in the final hour, but were too late. We rushed to the house Friday afternoon to see the first coat of paint and make sure we didn't hate it.
The bedroom is a little greener than we wanted, but once we get furniture in there, I think it will look great. It is sort of a neutral green / khaki color. And of course, the paint looks different on each wall and in different light.
We ended up being pretty happy with how things turned out. Now on to decorating!~

Drywall: Phase 2
We stopped by the house to see what our paint samples looked like in the actual space. The Drywall guys were there spraying a layer of paint /primer to smooth out the finish. The walls are starting to look like real walls in a real house! I had to take a few shots. Mikey said that kitchen cabinet installation and tile is scheduled for next week! Exciting stuff is happening!
